Jord Wooden Watches, Fieldcrest Review

I was thrilled to be contacted by Jord Wooden Watches. They are so quirky and as someone who has excema, I often struggle with watches and so don’t wear one to prevent flare ups as a lot of the straps can irritate my skin.

My style, how I've been wearing my Jord wooden watch from the fieldcrest series in zebrawood and maple.

This is how I’ve been wearing my watch, leaf optional!

So when I was asked if I’d like to review a watch that is so natural, I was very excited, I really love the idea of such unusual wooden watches, and have never owned anything like it. I know wooden accessories are very in at the moment but I hadn’t come across wooden watches before.

I chose a watch from the Fieldcrest series in Zebrawood and Maple as I absolutely loved the fact that it was all wood, it’s so quirky and I think, beautiful.

There are lots of other models available, with lots of other colour faces, which you can see on their website. (Scroll to the bottom of this post for a $20 discount voucher first!)

Jord wooden watches include this, from the fieldcrest range in zebrawood and maple.

Getting some Autumn inspiration from our nature walk!

The watch has a sturdy metal clasp and a very easy opening mechanism that you can easily do with one hand, always important in a watch!

I thought it might be uncomfortable and dig in but it’s actually completely smooth and gets lovely and warm after I’ve been wearing it for a while. The dial is clear to read and I am just incredibly impressed with the overall quality.

The packaging when it arrived was great too. I opened it live on Instagram and was very excited. Inside a beautiful, sturdy wooden box, was a cleaning cloth and underneath revealed the watch on an adorable tweed cushion. Top marks for presentation! It’s the attention to detail that makes it so special.

I wouldn’t hesitate to give one of these watches for a gift, they really are very unusual and a really wonderful piece of craftmanship. I’ve had no end of comments since I started wearing it, my husband would now like one and all of my friends at the school gates have remarked on it’s uniqueness.

I had so much fun with my photos for this post, and that’s the main thing about it, along with being practical, and very beautiful, it’s a lot of fun.
