Where to find Paint it Yourself Pottery Cheltenham
You may be familiar with the beautiful Paint It Yourself Pottery Cheltenham shop that sits in between the town centre and the iconic Pittville Park Gate. This eye-catching blue columned building is filled with inspiring painted pieces, done by the talented staff and customers over the years and carefully placed adorning the walls to give people an extra creative boost.

What can you do there?
Before the lockdown, we had visited the shop many times over the years, making personalised presents for grandparents and friends, starting with handprints when the children were small, to little decorations in a whole mis mash of colours that they were so proud of, to now making teacher presents and things for their rooms. It’s a lovely friendly place to sit and drink a coffee and eat cake while getting creative. I’d also been for evenings with friends, with a glass or two of fizz involved and lots of giggles. It’s a fun way to spend an evening!

How they have adapted during lockdown
Rachel, the lovely, bubbly Paint It Yourself Pottery Cheltenham owner always has a warm welcome for everyone and has been inspiring during lockdown, offering kits for delivery initially, then a ‘click and collect’ service and now she is thrilled to be able to let people come inside to choose their take away kit pieces. We’ve loved having the kits at home as we can really take our time over them and made them a part of our home learning.

What else do they offer?
Rachel is also doing incredibly well on her now legendary Facebook live sales over on their page, and their wonderful ‘paint alongs’ led by their very talented in house artists. They can also custom paint items if you’re not feeling creative and they offer a wide range of other products like clay kits, silver fingerprint jewellery and découpage.
