I’m so excited, I was asked to join the Kids Make and Bake Club YouTube channel! This means that I legitimately get to do craft on my own. Not that I’m a slight craft control freak and get a bit twitchy when absolutely no regard to the plan is paid by my kids, oh no, not me! 😉
For my debut, I thought I’d try something really simple, you can’t really go wrong with finger painting can you?! Hope you enjoy it. There is a team of us and there are some really fun vids already on the channel.
It wasn’t the easiest video to make, we were away, (I really need to get more organised in life!), and there was a pretty wild football game raging down on the football pitch below me. Hopefully it hasn’t affected the quality of the vid too much. For my next one, I absolutely definitely will be more organised!! Slightly unlikely I would say!

Gorgeous! Finger painting is always a good one to start with 😉 I’m a teacher and one of my favourite things to do with the kids is lay empty photo frames on the grass and ask children to create a picture using things from nature inside it. I wish my kids would like finger painting. They seem to enjoy smearing paint on their hands instead before plastering it over their faces then any furniture within grabbing distance! Great vid though, well done 🙂 #bigpinklink

My kids have always loved anything art or craft, my girls are now 11 and 9 and attend private art classes, they are loving it.

very cute. Love the music in the background and the location. your instructions are easy to follow for kids and i think i might just have to overcome my objection to fingerpaints. I have avoided them so far as i didn’t fancy having paint all over the house. maybe my smallies are old enough now 🙂

What a lovely simple idea I’ll look forward to trying this out with my boy when he’s a toddler. My girl is 5 and very arty she would love it too. We do a lot of craft together and recently I’ve been trying to do more baking with her. We made some really easy chocolate lollipops the other week – technically not baking but they were yummy!
