It is a stunning branch of John Lewis and everything I’d hoped it would be and more! Just what Cheltenham has been crying out for in my opinion. Lovely and spacious with beautiful things everywhere you look and decorated with gorgeous little touches, it really was an absolute pleasure to walk around.

There are work spaces with plug sockets and you are welcome to come and grab a takeaway coffee and settle down with your laptop. Also personal shopping services for men and women, even for groups if you and your friends fancied a restyle. There are home restyle services, made to measure curtains, smart home advice options, beauty make over zones and so so much more!

The John Lewis Cheltenham store has an ‘experiences hub’ and is offering craft activity sessions, pamper vouchers, mindfulness workshops, parenting advice sessions with a whole host of exciting ideas and plans that will be rolled out over the next few months. There is an option to go after hours too.

There is a big restaurant at the back and Huffkins have a lovely cafe in there as well with gorgeous pink styling and cakes galore. Alongside all the sweet delights, they are doing a full menu with ‘proper meals’ and breakfasts available all day, they put on a little breakfast spread for us and it was absolutely delicious.

Upstairs is electricals, beds, soft furnishings, curtains made to order (the fabric choice is divine!), a smart home section, Christmas trees and colour themed decorations, more coffee machines then a sleep deprived parent of a new born could ever need and kitchen gadgets galore.

Downstairs is clothing for men, women and children, laid out really simply (to make store navigation easy for even the most reluctant shopper!!), shoes, gorgeous bags (some with on the spot personalisation options) stationery, so many lovely beauty counters with perfume stacked high on stunning circular displays and nail, brow and blow dry bars and the most beautifully lit Charlotte Tilbury area. John Lewis Cheltenham is really really well done, turning the old Beechwood arcade into a thing of beauty.

My favourite of all is the beautiful haberdashery with its dizzying array of fabrics, rainbows of wools, machines, accessories, craft kits and patterns. My idea of heaven!

I absolutely can’t wait to get in there when it opens properly as I now have a wish list as long as my arm! Dave is not quite so keen on the idea of me going for some reason though! 😉
It looks amazing! I think I’ll be there on Friday… maybe it’ll be calmer? *fingers crossed* and I can’t wait to see those restaurants!
