They are definitely the most unusual items I have and I just love feeling the connection with nature. New for this year are their gorgeous gift sets. They have options for men and women (but most are pretty unisex depending on your taste) and they offer a wide selection of woods, colours, finishes and combinations.
I chose the gorgeous Cora Polaris and Holly sunglasses and watch gift set in walnut and midnight blue and I have been so blown away with the lovely quality of the watch and sunglasses. The rose gold and midnight blue is a perfect colour combination and the watch face is inset with tiny Swarovski crystals to depict the stars of the Little Dipper.
Another bonus feature of the watch is no batteries because you hand wind it and it has a 40 hour power reserve. I love the little window on the back to view the mechanisms. It also has scratch proof sapphire crystal front and back to ensure that it is hard wearing and durable. The watch is water resistant.
The set I chose comes in several different colour and wood combinations. The sunglasses are a more feminine take on the classic aviator and are incredibly lightweight whilst providing all the protection from harmful UV rays you need. The frames comprise of a mix of very beautifully grain patterned Paduak wood and titanium and cellulose acetate for the most lightweight but strong finish.
The loveliest touch is the packaging for the wooden watches, Jord do the nicest presentation and this is no exception with the set coming in a large, beautifully constructed box with separate compartments for your glasses and watch. There is a case for your watch and a separate box for your watch and the cleaning cloths and accessories. There is a drawer underneath so you can use it to store jewellery or other items and what makes it really special is that you can have the box engraved with a message written in your own handwriting. What a special, heartfelt gift. As well as wooden watches, they also sell Apple Bands and handbags.
