Lovely gifts for kids. (And some for the dog too!)

We have been sent some lovely gifts for kids (including the new furry one!) this year and I thought I would share some of our favourites as Christmas is round the corner now and I thought it might help anyone struggling for ideas and starting to panic!

Things to read.

The Christmas Snowflake which is from the same company that the gorgeous My Golden Ticket book came from. As gifts for kids go, I don’t think you can get much better then a book, especially not one as lovely as these personalised ones!

We have been playing some brilliant games!

Having fun with Yeti in my spaghetti.

Bunny Jump, Yeti in my Spaghetti and 5 Second Rule Junior, all by University Games, a lovely company with loads of brilliant games available. (FYI you can actually use the bunny as a weapon if you are a 5 year old boy, he was ‘firing’ it at his sister! I think that shows that there are many ways to play a game no?!)

5 Second Rule also comes in a mini version, perfect for taking on holiday or popping in your bag when you need to keep the kids busy somewhere!

Toys.

We were also sent some Sylvanian Families, (not this kit sadly, although I’ve linked to the house in the picture.), I loved Sylvanian Families, as a child I would play for hours and hours with them, and some Aquabeads which come in so many different kit forms now, Star Wars and Disney Princesses to name but a few! You can even get a Sylvanian Family Aquabead set!

I reviewed some fab stuff too, the Little Live Pets Kitten, and The Smart Globe, (which I really liked but would probably go for the model up as it looked like there was a lot more you could do with it!).

I also loved these Frozen Itty Bitty dolls from Hallmark, so much so that I promptly hid them to pop in the kid’s stockings this year! Get the set of 4 here.

Something different.

If you’re looking to give something a little different, how about tickets to the amazing Gifford’s Circus? We have loved it both times we’ve been!

Festival tickets? Both Cornbury and Geronimo have both been fabulous this year, with Cornbury carrying on, despite saying it was their last event!

A show at the Theatre? The Everyman in Cheltenham has the most wonderful shows for children and the panto!

And for the furry child in your life?

Barney absolutely loves these treats by Nature’s Menu and will be finding some in his stocking for sure!

He was also sent an amazing LED flashing jacket for Winter walks but is too big for it so we’ve not had a chance to test it, but it’s too lovely not to mention! His is Maroon with a furry hood!

I have always got a book not far from me and have always encouraged the kids to read so we are all avid readers x

I adore gifting encounters. I think making recollections is a great deal more fun than collecting more stuff. Sylvan appears as though it would be an incredible expansion of any youngster’s instruction.

I love reading and have passed this love on to my 6 children! They are all bookworms and we have that many books we seem to be creating a household library! Love the Willy Wonka book!
