It’s a Suuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmer Big Pink Link! It’s been soooo hot and sunny in our part of the UK, hopefully for you too. School has finished and our days are mainly being spent in the garden. It’s so nice to be able to eat outside too. It’s been like being abroad.
My little big girl finished reception last week and I was sooo sad! I’m amazed actually, at how emotional I felt when we said goodbye to her teacher. Not that we’ll never see her again! On the plus side, it’s the holidays. Long lazy days stretching out ahead of us. No school run, hooray! As you all know, I am a totally calm and unflustered school run mum….not! 😉 So it will be really lovely to not having to be anywhere at any point. Bliss!
We had some posts that stood out for us this week. I found this post by Someone’s Mum so beautifully written about how it makes the parent of a child with autism feel when they hear the words ‘I’m so sorry’ in relation to their child. My other choice was from Five Little Doves. Lots of the posts I read on Laura’s beautiful blog make me emotional but this one had me in bits. So so well written. Happy birthday Joseph. xx
For El, she thought that this was very clever and witty post on how women are still judged more harshly than their male counterparts, but be warned “Wintour’s Coming.” She also loved this, a hilarious and brilliant look at REAL parenting styles. Lucy had me in stitches as I could see myself donning those styles, especially the lazy and panic parenting styles.
Grab yourself a Wow badge from above my lovelies!
Okey dokey on with the linky! Let’s hope it stay sunny so we can all have some time reading the wonderful posts in the sunshine!
